View: Instructor who survived Uvalde massacre rips law enforcement as 'cowards'

A Robb Elementary College instructor who survived the May possibly 24 massacre is finally speaking out and ripping the law enforcement who responded as "cowards."

"They're cowards," Arnulfo Reyes explained. "They sit there and did very little for our community. They took a long time to go in … I will hardly ever forgive them."

Reyes heard a bang all-around 11:30 a.m., ordered the learners to get under their desks, and found himself deal with-to-experience with the shooter, Salvador Ramos, he claimed.

"When I turned around," Reyes said, "I just observed him."

Ramos killed at minimum 21 people, which includes 19 learners and two lecturers.

At minimum 11 of those people students have been in Reyes's classroom, according to a report.

Reyes was shot 2 times.

"I feel so bad for the mom and dad for the reason that they misplaced a boy or girl," Reyes said. "But they missing a person youngster. I missing 11 that working day, all at one particular time."

Ramos continued firing for about 77 minutes, and he continued as police collected outside the house.

As he carries on his restoration, Reyes mentioned he is working to make positive a very similar tragedy under no circumstances happens yet again.

"The only point that I know is that I is not going to let these small children and my co-personnel die in vain," he reported.

"I will go to the close of the entire world to make guaranteed factors get adjusted. If which is what I have to do for the rest of my lifestyle, I will do it."
