A Nebraska male pleaded guilty Thursday to issuing threats in opposition to an election official by using Instagram.

Travis Ford, 42, who wrote the formal, "You really feel protected? You should not," between other hostile messages, is going through up to two years in jail for the threats and is scheduled for sentencing Oct. 6, the Justice Department announced.
