NBA celebrity LeBron James sent prayers to his hometown of Akron, Ohio, after local law enforcement produced video footage on Sunday displaying the fatal law enforcement taking pictures of Jayland Walker.

"I [pray] for my city currently!" the Los Angeles Lakers participant tweeted.

The entire body cam footage shows officers chasing Walker, a 25-year-old DoorDash driver, soon after he fled a traffic cease. Walker was a black gentleman, and his demise prompted a new wave of calls for law enforcement accountability and protests.
