Liz Cheney warns GOP 'can't survive' if Trump will become 2024 nominee

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) issued a dire warning to the Republican Occasion if it rallies powering previous President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election.

The warning marks an escalation in rhetoric as Trump flirts with an additional run for the White House. Trump dropped to President Joe Biden in 2020 but carries on to assert the election was stolen.

Past 12 months, Cheney, the daughter of previous Vice President Dick Cheney, told the host, "I will do all the things I can to make guaranteed Trump's not the nominee and, you know, every thing necessary to make absolutely sure he in no way gets wherever near the Oval Office environment all over again."

Her new remarks underscore how Cheney is not backing down from her split with significantly of the GOP as she faces a challenging main problem by Harriet Hageman, who is endorsed by Trump, in August.
