Report: Woman shot by police after firing gun at Dallas airport

A woman allegedly fired several gunshots into the air at Dallas Like Field Airport in Texas on Monday ahead of police shot her and took her into custody, Dallas Law enforcement claimed.

The incident commenced at about 11 a.m. when a 37-yr-outdated female arrived to the airport and went inside of close to the ticket counters, Dallas Law enforcement Chief Eddie Garcia said. She went to the lavatory and then exited wearing a hoodie, and then pulled out a firearm and began taking pictures, apparently aiming at the ceiling, he said.

An officer on scene shot her in a decreased extremity and she was taken into custody and is in the medical center. No a person else was wounded, Garcia claimed.

The incident sparked chaos at the airport as persons fled. Michael Loewinsohn experienced just arrived at the airport on a flight from Denver and was walking toward baggage declare when the chaos erupted.
