San Pablo: Fatal hit-and-run suspect crashes head-on into Cadillac

SAN PABLO — The suspect in a strike-and-run collision that still left a bicyclist lifeless early Saturday morning was arrested following crashing head-on into another automobile, law enforcement explained.
The hit-and-run victim is a 57-calendar year-old male who lived in unincorporated San Pablo. He was pronounced useless at the scene and will not be determined right up until up coming-of-kin is notified, police said.

The driver of the Cadillac was taken to the medical center with moderate injuries, authorities mentioned.
The Honda driver, a 23-year-previous Fairfield male, was arrested on suspicion of felony hit-and-operate and vehicular manslaughter. He is in custody at the Contra Costa County jail. There are no other suspects in the scenario, police mentioned.
Areas of each Church Lane and San Pablo Avenue remained shut Saturday early morning as officers investigated. The roads had been envisioned to be reopened by the afternoon.
