Gavin Newsom mocked by former staffer after DeSantis discussion obstacle

California Gov. Gavin Newsom's challenge for a discussion in opposition to Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) has been mocked as the actions of somebody "shedding" by a person professing to be a former staffer.

"1 of the essential guidelines of politics is that the only man or woman who requires debates is the person dropping the argument," wrote Bob Brigham, who is now a senior editor at Uncooked Tale.

Newsom issued his obstacle for a discussion in opposition to DeSantis after the Florida governor reported his California counterpart's "hair gel was interfering with his mind operate." The Florida governor took the shot at Newsom soon after he sent a letter to the Department of Justice inquiring it to prosecute both of those DeSantis and Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX).

Newsom's letter to the DOJ was referencing DeSantis's determination to send about 50 immigrants, including small children, on a bus to Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, on Wednesday.

Newsom issued his challenge for a debate applying a tweet from previous CBS news anchor Dan Alternatively, stating that DeSantis is evidently "struggling, distracted and hectic participating in politics with people's lives."

"Let's just take this up and debate. I will provide my hair gel. You bring your hairspray. Title the time just before Election Day," wrote Newsom.
