Law enforcement arrest two East Bay men in link with Marin 7-Eleven robbery-carjacking

Law enforcement arrested two gentlemen they feel have been powering a gunpoint robbery and carjacking at a 7-Eleven in Santa Venetia in August.

The Marin County Sheriff’s Office 1st started investigating in the early hrs of Aug. 23, when a 911 caller claimed the shop at 292 N. San Pedro Street experienced been robbed, sheriff’s Sgt. Brenton Schneider reported at the time.

Two suspects entered the retail store and demanded the clerk hand over cash, Schneider stated. As the clerk emptied the until, one of the suspects demanded a client flip over his auto keys.

The buyer refused to give up the keys, so one particular of the alleged robbers took them by pressure, Schneider explained. As the clerk was handing around the hard cash, the customer “pleaded with the suspect not to get his vehicle mainly because his young children were inside of,” and the suspect handed the keys again to the person.

The suspects located themselves another car, once again using keys by force from one more driver outside the house the retail outlet, and forcing a passenger out of the car, Schneider reported. The suspects fled towards China Camp Condition Park.

The two robbers escaped in the customer’s auto headed toward China Camp. It was later identified abandoned on Vendola Generate, Schneider stated.
