Tunes supervisor Chaka Zulu, regarded for running rapper Ludacris, was billed with murder Saturday following a capturing in June.

Zulu, whose delivery name is Ahmed Obafemi, walked into Fulton County Jail to change himself in Tuesday, according to the Atlanta Law enforcement Department. He was arrested the exact day and charged with murder, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon through specific crimes, and uncomplicated battery.

The 52-12 months-aged was launched just after paying his bond of $200,000, in accordance to jail documents.

Police claimed that three guys, like Zulu, were being shot on June 26 for the duration of an altercation outside a strip mall in Atlanta. Artez Benton, 23, died of his accidents at a nearby hospital after currently being shot by Zulu.

"A shut assessment of all of the evidence, such as the surveillance footage and eyewitness interviews, reveals that Mr. Zulu was attacked and jumped from guiding by a gang of at least 4 persons (regrettably like the decedent) and was pressured to protect himself immediately after this gang frequently stomped, punched, and kicked him while he was on the ground in a defenseless posture," Zulu's legal professional, Gabe Banks, wrote in a statement. Ludacris has not responded publicly to the fees. The rapper founded Disturbing tha Peace Information with Zulu in the 1990s, with Zulu having managed him for above 20 years.

The Atlanta Law enforcement Department studies 112 homicides this calendar year to day.
