View: Sunny Hostin blasts Queen Elizabeth II's crown for possessing 'pillaged stones'

The View host Sunny Hostin shared her ideas about Queen Elizabeth II's dying Friday, exhorting viewers to "mourn the queen and not the empire" for its colonization.

Hostin shared that she used some time researching in London right before she gave her feelings on the queen's passing.

"I required to fulfill the queen due to the fact I assume we all like glam and pageantry," Hostin claimed. "And I consider, although, we can mourn the queen and not the empire."

"Because if you definitely imagine about what the monarchy was created on, it was constructed on the backs of black and brown people. She wore a crown with pillaged stones from India and Africa," Hostin went on. "And now, what you are looking at, at minimum in the black communities that I’m a aspect of, they want reparations."

The attorney then built a suggestion to King Charles III.

"Charles, now, is in a placement, he, I consider, has 14 colonies that he’s now head of point out, which include Australia and Canada, I believe, if I’m accurate. It is time for him to modernize this monarchy, and it’s time for him to offer reparations to all of these colonies," Hostin mentioned.
