The Washington Examiner's David Drucker stated Monday that Democrats are facing an "uphill fight" going into the November midterm elections.

"Republicans never even have to have a wave to win control of Congress. They just need history to behave the way record has behaved," Drucker reported on Specific Report with Bret Baier.

"The most critical problems to voters have been then, and are now primarily, inflation, the economic climate generally, crime, energy, the border in certain sites. All of people difficulties are enjoying in favor of Republicans. And there’s just not nearly anything Democrats can do about it right now," he instructed host Bret Baier. "And it’s doable that president Biden’s insurance policies will at some point operate, but they are not likely to operate in time for Nov. 8. And so they are combating an uphill battle."
