The Saugus Significant College soccer group will no more time use the “thin blue line” flag in its pregame ceremonies soon after a decision by the team’s coach, the William S. Hart Union Substantial Faculty District superintendent stated.
The flag, a black and white United States flag with a horizontal blue line, has turn out to be a contentious image. Some use it to declare aid for regulation enforcement, when white nationalists and other extremist groups have adopted the flag for their possess movements.
In a letter despatched to the college neighborhood, Supt. Mike Kuhlman said the use of the flag experienced become controversial.
