Third suspect arrested in relationship with East Palo Alto capturing

EAST PALO ALTO – A third suspect has been arrested in link with a taking pictures last thirty day period in East Palo Alto, police mentioned.

The taking pictures happened Sept. 10 just following 11:15 p.m. at an apartment complicated in the 1900 block of Manhattan Avenue, in accordance to the East Palo Alto Law enforcement Section.

Law enforcement mentioned a black sedan pulled into an alleyway and two occupants fired at minimum 14 pictures at a group of folks collected on a staircase. No 1 was hit by the gunfire.

A single of the individuals on the staircase returned fireplace as the sedan left the scene, in accordance to police. Investigators recovered a full of 42 bullet casings at the scene.

As the investigation unfolded, the California Freeway Patrol notified East Palo Alto police that a black sedan had been found crashed and abandoned on Freeway 101 at Embarcadero Street. There have been bullet holes in the rear and side of the sedan.

Police explained a loaded firearm with an extended journal was uncovered within the sedan.

East Palo Alto police officers, with support from the U.S. Marshals Provider, arrested a 20-calendar year-outdated gentleman and a 22-year-outdated man, both of those of East Palo Alto, on Sept. 26 and Sept. 29, respectively. They have been identified as the suspects who fired from the sedan.

The 3rd suspect, a 31-year-previous Mountain See man, was arrested Tuesday. He was determined as the suspect who returned fireplace.

Firearms were being discovered during lookups of 3 residences and three motor vehicles, in accordance to police.
