A 16-year-old teenager was apprehended by the Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF) when he was trying to board with more than 20 kg of marijuana on the Brasília Interstate Bus Station. The seizure took place on the night of this Sunday (9/4).
The 25 drug tablets were hidden in a suitcase. According to the PMDF, the bus driver, when placing the passengers' bags in the trunk, noticed that there was something wrong with the teenager's belongings. Suspicious, the employee called nearby police officers and reported the situation.
The bus the teenager boarded was destined for Maranhão, but would take a break in Tocantins. When the military arrived, they questioned the minor, who confessed to the crime. The teenager said he would receive a total of R$ 1,500 to transport the narcotics. He was apprehended and taken to the Child and Adolescent Police Station (DCA), where he will respond for an offense similar to drug trafficking.
