Petaluma: Person accused of brandishing knife

Petaluma police arrested a gentleman on Monday suspected of threatening a cafe staff with a knife and producing threats, authorities reported on Saturday.
Law enforcement say that at about 8:45 p.m., 42-calendar year-outdated Jason Earl Collins of San Diego was employing chalk to write something on the sidewalk in front of the Easy Rider cafe at 190 Kentucky Road.
When an worker requested Collins to go together, he allegedly brandished a knife and moved towards them, police explained.
The worker was able to get back inside of the cafe and lock the door, according to law enforcement.
Two other cafe staff members then adopted Collins down the avenue and identified as police, who soon located the suspect on C St. around wherever it useless-finishes at the Petaluma River, law enforcement reported.
Collins then allegedly obtained into the river and waded and swam toward the D St. Bridge.
