Welcome to the Bay Region Information Team (Mercury Information & East Bay Times) boys athlete of the 7 days poll.

For the total tutorial year, we will present a listing of candidates who stood out above the earlier 7 days and allow you, the reader, to vote for the winner.

This 7 days, we consider performances from Aug. 29-Sept. 3.

Polls close at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

On to the nominees:

William Augenstein, Branham soccer: In a 28-13 victory more than Oak Grove, the senior ran for 177 yards and a landing and passed for 80 yards as the Bruins ran their document to 2-. He has rushed for 361 yards and thrown for 261 yards this period.

Aiden Berry, California water polo: In five video games past 7 days – 3 wins, two losses – the sophomore scored 15 ambitions to stretch his year whole to 23. He experienced seven in a 14-6 win about James Logan and 4 in a 10-9 reduction to Piedmont.

Josiah Jones, St. Patrick-St. Vincent soccer: The junior caught 5 passes for 139 yards and four touchdowns as SPSV outlasted Castlemont 53-42 in a non-league recreation. The victory enhanced the Bruins’ report to 2-.
