A video shows the Dalai Lama allegedly kissing a boy on the lips and then asking him to "suck his tongue". It caused an outcry on social media. 

A video showing the Dalai Lama  kissing a boy on the lips and asking him to suck his tongue is going viral on social media.

It has triggered a public outcry in several countries, according to the VFAB News. As various media write, the video is said to have been taken at an event organized by the M3M Foundation in India, where the Tibetan spiritual leader, who lives in exile, gave a speech to 120 students. 




"Since living in India, I have met all kinds of people, including scholars and scientists, who are interested in the methods by which we can achieve the peace of mind that keeps us alive," he is said to have told the young people have.

Greeting lasted a few seconds
In the middle of the speech, the 87-year-old is interrupted by a child. After the Dalai Lama invited the child to his table, he hugged and kissed him. Then he laughs and says, "Can you suck on my tongue?" The child then moved its head just a little closer. The greeting lasted a few seconds. The Dalai Lama finally hugged him and said, "Thank you."

Originally, "VFAB News" is said to have published the video first. Although the video is more than a week old, it is currently triggering a shitstorm on social media . Users share it to express their outrage at the cleric's behavior towards the little boy.

The official Twitter account of the Tibetan Central Government published a sequence of the same audience of the Dalai Lama, where he talks to the boy. The video was posted as follows: "His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama advising a little Indian boy to be a good person who always strives for peace and happiness in the world".
